Tune in: Monday 8.30PM from 7 September

Brooker, Barbara & Kath

Brooker

48, CEO
BND Advertising

A returned ex-pat, Bill Brooker joins the BND Sydney Office from New York, with instructions to get the business back on track. Originally a Major in Special Ops, Brooker was tempted from army life when his former commanding officer offered him a senior position in a Washington PR firm.

Brooker’s use of battle strategies, coupled with an uncommon gift for identifying human weakness, made him ideally suited to the circles in which he now moved. After working with him on a campaign to show the world a “kinder, gentler Dick Cheney” BND Worldwide head hunted him to run their New York operation. Brooker’s large collection of military memorabilia, augmented by other, more esoteric objects, is legendary.

McBaney is played by Peter O’Brien.

Barbara

32, Account Director
BND Advertising

Barbara (or Boobera as she is known to her colleagues), loves the glamour of advertising. Her best moment was the weekend she appeared twice in the social pages at different clients’ product launches. She slept with a hot promo guy after both of those parties, so that was a bonus. The money’s great, which lets her live in a cool flat in an expensive suburb and maintain her convertible BMW. It’s a happy life Barbara leads.

Barbara is played by Emily Brennan.

Kath

25, Copywriter
BND Advertising

Kath is new around here. A top graduate at advertising school, she was snapped up by BND and placed with Art Director Sumo. Eager, talented and willing to learn, Kath is an essentially honest person who’s quickly confronted by the realities of her chosen industry.

Kath is played by Jenna Lind.
